President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented the Otan Order to statesman and public figure Kuanysh Sultanov.
The Head of State congratulated him on his 80th birthday and acknowledged his
contribution to the country’s development. Kuanysh Sultanov has held various
positions over the years, including Minister of Press and Information, Deputy
Prime Minister, and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to several countries.
«You have made a significant contribution to the development
of the country’s parliamentary system. As a member of Parliament, Vice Chairman
of the Supreme Council, and having been elected three times to the Senate and
twice to the Mazhilis, you have consistently raised pressing issues. Today, you
continue to actively engage in public work. I am confident that your invaluable
experience, patriotism, and personal qualities can serve as a worthy example
for the younger generation,» Tokayev
noted.
