In Moscow, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro. The Head of State emphasized that he views the country as an important partner. To develop bilateral cooperation, President Tokayev invited Nicolás Maduro to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan. The two sides also discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, with particular focus on the energy sector. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation and exchange of lists of priority export products.
The Head of State also held a meeting with Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in petrochemicals, the agro-industrial sector, digitalization, transport, and logistics. President Tokayev proposed organizing reciprocal visits by business circles to give an impetus to economic cooperation.
The Head of State also met with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. The two sides confirmed their mutual commitment to implementing previously reached agreements and agreed to continue the dialogue on issues of the bilateral and international agenda as part of the Serbian President’s upcoming visit to Astana.
