President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in the Aktobe
region, where he laid flowers at the memorial complex to the Hero of the Soviet
Union Aliya Moldagulova and honored her memory with a moment of silence. This
year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned daughter of the
Kazakh people. During a meeting with local community representatives, the Head
of State emphasized that in today's unstable times, it is important to maintain
cohesion and unity. The President is also participating in the 11th
International Military-Patriotic Youth Gathering ‘Aibyn’ in Aktobe.
«Aliya Moldagulova is a brave daughter of the Kazakh people.
Today, I came here specifically to honour her memory on the occasion of her
100th anniversary. I extend my gratitude to all of you. It is essential to
widely promote Aliya’s name both in our country and abroad. She is a valiant
daughter of the Kazakh people and our pride. Her bright image will forever
remain in our memory.»
