Kazakh nationals, family members evacuated from Gaza Strip arrive in Almaty

A total of 99 evacuees, including Kazakh citizens and their family members, arrived in Almaty from the Gaza Strip via a special evacuation flight. The Kazakh Foreign Ministry, following the instructions of the country’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was engaged in the evacuation work. Upon arrival, all evacuees have been provided with temporary accommodation and necessary legal, medical and other assistance. The successful evacuation is the outcome of the joint coordinated work of the Embassies of Kazakhstan in Israel, Jordan and Egypt with the authorized bodies of these countries and international organizations. Following negotiations with the leadership of the foreign ministries in the Middle East region, the country’s Foreign Ministry successfully reached an agreement for the safe and unconditional departure of Kazakh citizens from the Gaza Strip.
