Online lectures, training seminars, international practices, certified legal programs and free consultations. Every year, at the educational platform of the Astana International Financial Centre, Academy of Law, leading international partners share their experience with experts from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Among them are well-known law firms and barristers’ chambers. A unique program has been recently launched in the capital to improve the qualifications of Kazakh judges. Within the training, they gained access to a variety of international experience in judicial administration and case management. Since the beginning of the year, the AIFC Academy of Law has organized over 15 online seminars, where more than 500 students, lawyers and business professionals were trained.
The Academy of Law mission is preparing lawyers for international, commercial law practice by delivering legal education that has global value, therefore it is key for us to work with world-class institutions to deliver differentiated value towards state holders. Today we’ve organized more than 10 certificate programs. They all were organized in collaboration with strong international partners. Further, we also work with global institutions to deliver internationally recognized certificates,” said David Gallo, Head of AIFC Academy of Law.
