Kazakh government holds meeting with representatives of University of Arizona

The first intake of students of the University of Arizona affiliate at North Kazakhstan University is scheduled to begin in September. It was announced during the meeting of the country’s Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov with representatives of the foreign educational institution. In order to improve the competitiveness of Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, the best practices of the University of Arizona will be applied there. Thus, educational and academic mobility programs will be developed, and foreign professors will be attracted as part of this cooperation. It will allow for advanced scientific research and participation in international projects. In addition, students will be given the opportunity to obtain a double diploma: one from the Kazakh university and another one from the University of Arizona.
