The National Action Plan for the implementation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state-of-the-nation address consists of 76 measures aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and improving the social well-being of citizens. The document has been approved by the country’s Government. Among the planned actions is the development of a new draft law to oversee the activities of banks and credit organizations, aiming to stimulate economic activity and regulate digital assets and financial technologies. A unified tax administration information system will be introduced in the country by the end of 2025, with a new Tax Code coming into effect at the beginning of 2026. Specific measures will also be taken to advance the agricultural sector. Furthermore, the document provides for implementing major industrial projects and taking measures to establish a comprehensive national automotive cluster.
«It is necessary to ensure timely development of bills specified in the Plan, to involve experts in this work, and to conduct in-depth analysis and discussion. Additionally, all financing issues must be addressed. It is important to refuse unnecessary spending. Budget funds should be allocated only for priority and strategic purposes. The main task is to effectively and timely fulfil the activities of the Plan,» said Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
