President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a
response letter to President of the United States (U.S.) Donald Trump regarding
the introduction of 25% tariffs on imports of Kazakh goods. The Head of State
highlighted that Kazakhstan, as a long-standing trade and investment partner of
the U.S., is committed to developing fair, predictable, and mutually beneficial
trade ties. He confirmed the country’s readiness to continue constructive
dialogue to find a rational solution and expressed confidence in reaching a
compromise regarding the trade issue.
