President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reviewed the annual report of the country’s National Bank. The Head of State highlighted that due to the measures taken, the economic growth was recorded at over 4 percent last year. Besides that, President Tokayev drew attention to rising inflation. He instructed the Government together with the National Bank to ensure the full implementation of the Set of measures to control and reduce the inflation for 2022-2024. He also pointed out the activities of the National Fund. The state budget should not be based on the use of its funds. Transfers should be gradually reduced, the Head of State said. He stressed that the National Bank along with the Agency for Regulation and Development of Financial Market need to purposefully increase the potential of the country’s financial sector.
