Zhanat Elimanov who reported on the agency’s key outcomes and objectives for the upcoming period. The Head of State was briefed on measures
taken to combat money laundering. The agency exposed shell companies and 20 illegal crypto
exchanges. In addition, the largest crypto service in the CIS, which operated on 20 darknet platforms, was eliminated. The
agency also prevented losses to the budget and state subsidies amounting to 175 billion tenge. President Tokayev instructed that the protection of citizens’
financial interests be strengthened.
