President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, John Lee Ka-chiu. The Head of State emphasized the exceptional significance of John Lee’s visit, expressing confidence that it would open new opportunities for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong, and, more broadly, between Kazakhstan and China, as well as for expanding business ties and launching promising joint projects. He also noted the unique role of Hong Kong as one of the world’s leading financial and business centers. The parties discussed investment attraction, innovation and modern technology adoption, and reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening trade and economic cooperation.
