Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev extended his congratulations to Iran’s newly elected President Masoud
Pezeshkian on his election victory and wished him success in his responsible
post. During a telephone conversation, the two leaders reaffirmed their mutual
commitment to further strengthening relations between the countries. They
discussed the current state and future prospects for developing cooperation in
trade and economic, transport and logistics, as well as cultural and
humanitarian areas. The heads of state also exchanged views on topical regional
and international issues.
