The
President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Astana on an official visit. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the
distinguished guest at the Akorda residence, where a guard of honor was lined up in the ceremonial hall. The Presidential
Orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries. The leaders of
Kazakhstan and Iran proceeded to the State Flag of the
country. Afterwards, a narrow-format meeting was
held. As part of the official visit, high-level talks are
planned, during which the parties will discuss further strengthening
Kazakh-Iranian cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics, as
well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.
