Increasing prestige of working professions discussed at youth forum in Astana

Astana hosted the «Adal Adam—Adal Enbek» forum, dedicated to the Year of Working Professions and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The event brought together employees of the country’s enterprises, students from vocational and technical institutions, MPs, representatives of ethnocultural associations and Heroes of Labor of Kazakhstan. As honorary guests, they shared their stories of professional achievements with the youth, emphasizing that the key to success lies in hard work and adherence to universal human values. Representatives of the Ethnic Assembly also presented inspiring examples of dedication to their professions. Student assemblies are actively being established within this unique institution, fostering unity, professional and social growth, and creative self-fulfillment.

«It is important for us that Kazakh youth have access to existing international projects focused on developing social, creative, scientific, and volunteer activities, and that they actively engage in promoting intercultural dialogue at the global level. We also want Kazakhstan’s experience in the development of interethnic relations to be showcased on prestigious platforms such as UNESCO,» noted Timur Jumurbayev, Chairman of the Assambleya Zhastary organization.

«We all know that this year was declared the Year of Working Professions by the Head of State. It is a great source of pride for us that our work is recognized and valued, and that we are contributing to the well-being of our people and Kazakhstan. In our company, everything is well-developed for the youth. The key is to take initiative, share your ideas, and you will see the results. I will be sharing my journey as a metallurgist - how I got into this profession and why it inspired me,» said metallurgist Alexander Oltov.
