IMF raises Kazakhstan’s 2025 GDP growth forecast

Kazakhstan’s GDP is projected to grow by 5.5% this year, with the forecast exceeding 4% in 2026, according to the World Economic Outlook published by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In its October analysis, the IMF had previously projected a growth rate of 4.6% for this year and 3.5% for the next. Thus, the IMF has revised its forecast for Kazakhstan’s economic growth upward. Notably, GDP growth in 2024 is estimated at 4%, reflecting a slowdown compared to 2023.
