European Commission positively assesses flight safety in Kazakhstan

The European Commission assessed the level of flight safety in Kazakhstan. According to foreign experts, the Kazakh model of civil aviation regulation complies with European standards. This was announced in Brussels at a meeting of the Kazakh delegation with representatives of the EU Commission, the European Aviation Safety Agency and the EU member states.

Moreover, the EU Commission confirmed that presently, Kazakh airlines have no restrictions on flights to Europe. The civil aviation regulation model, which has been implemented in the country since 2019, is an advanced and one of the most effective approaches to flight safety in the world. In particular, the progress made in the areas of airworthiness, alongside with the flight operation and air personnel licensing was also positively evaluated. The updated structure of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan was highly assessed as well.
