As part of the working visit to Kazakhstan,
Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte visited Maqsut Narikbayev
University (MNU) in Astana and held a meeting with students. The distinguished
guest answered questions from the young people gathered in the hall, including
one related to the promising areas of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the
Netherlands. Mark Rutte noted that the two countries pay special attention to
partnership in the trade and economic sphere. He also emphasized that the parties
cooperate in the field of green energy application.
“Of course, we can learn from each other in
water management. You have had these awful floods earlier this year,
which has such an impact on this country. We are proud to be of help, but we
are also learning from you, and it’s really a two-way street. And finally,
green hydrogen. We have this traditional relationship in terms of energy
cooperation in green hydrogen,” said Rutte.
