Kazakhstan’s digital investment coin ÚKI received high
praise at the World Money Fair in Berlin. The National Bank of Kazakhstan
presented the features of the launch and implementation of the project, which
combines advanced technologies with the traditions of coinage. Notably, the
largest global numismatic platform annually brings together representatives of
the coin community from around the globe. Kazakhstan has been participating in
this exhibition since 2000. It is worth noting that the ÚKI investment coin is
made of gold and has a face value of 100 tenge.
«International experts highly praised the project’s
advancement, its focus on financial education, as well as the quality and
exclusive design of the gold investment coin ÚKI, issued by the Kazakhstan
Mint. The coin’s concept was developed by designers from the National Bank. The
ÚKI digital investment coin will be available for purchase online anytime, from
anywhere in the world, sold back to the National Bank, gifted, or, upon
accumulating a sufficient amount, exchanged for a physical gold investment coin
at the National Bank’s regional branches,» noted Chief Specialist of the Cash
Circulation Department at the National Bank of Kazakhstan Ainur Idrissova.
