Days of Armenian Culture kick off in Kazakhstan

The Days of Armenian Culture have begun in Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan participated in the opening ceremony, attending a gala concert at the Kalibek Kuanyshbayev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theater, where works by world-renowned Armenian composers Komitas, Charles Aznavour, Georges Garvarentz, and Arno Babajanian were performed by the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia, along with artists Inga Arshakyan and Gor Sujyan. The Heads of State also visited a photo exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great Armenian film director and artist Sergei Parajanov. It is worth noting that Astana will also host the Days of Armenian Cinema. The Hamazgayin State Theater will present the performance titled «Lyu-Boff», based on the works of Daniil Kharms.
