Astana Culture Days are taking
place in Moscow. On the first day, the artists of the Musical Theater of Young
Spectators presented the ethno-folk musical «Kyz Zhibek» on the stage of the
capital’s drama school. The lyrical poem, based on a real story of love between
a girl and a boy, friendship, and patriotism, is rightly recognized as a gem of
Kazakh folklore. According to the organizers, the musical captivated the Moscow
audience with its dynamic plot, poignant music, and masterful performance of
the artists.
The audience also enjoyed the musical drama
«Gauhartas». As part of the Astana Culture Days, it is planned to hold a
photo exhibition titled «Astana – My Love» featuring works by Kazakh
photographers. Besides, a meeting between the delegation of the Astana mayor’s
office and the Government of Moscow will be held. The event will conclude with
a concert at the Moscow International Performing Arts Center.
