Coronavirus proteins to be sent to International Space Station

On March 18, the first batch of coronavirus proteins will be sent to the International Space Station for research. According to the Russian laboratory of biotechnological research spokespeople, a series of experiments awaits them, the first of which will last eight days. It is planned to grow COVID-19 protein crystals using a 3D bioprinter. The samples will then be returned to planet Earth, where they will participate in experiments for another month and a half. The next dispatch is scheduled for autumn.
