The construction of a sorting hub is scheduled to begin this
year in the Almaty region, aiming to reduce postal delivery times. Chairman of
the Board of the Chinese logistics company YTO Express, Yu Huijiao, announced this during a meeting
with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. An industrial park will also be
established near the hub. The President was further briefed on a joint venture
with QazPost aimed at developing an efficient courier delivery network across
Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
