Kazakh beatmakers are reaching new heights, with numerous
global stars eager to collaborate with them, even forming a queue for the
opportunity. One such success story is Yerkanat Sadukhanov, a school biology
teacher from the Abai region. Known as Eraholic in the music world, he worked
as the sound producer for the deluxe edition of Nicki Minaj’s album Pink Friday
2, released in December. He has also collaborated with international stars such
as Dua Lipa, Rosalía, and Lisa of Blackpink. Despite his busy schedule, the
young teacher continues to successfully balance his work in education with
international music projects.
«Like all beatmakers, I share my work on social media. I
uploaded one of my creations to a popular website, and the first major artist
to reach out was Dua Lipa. She contacted me through the platform and purchased
my work. That’s how it all started. Since then, I’ve collaborated with
Brazilian singer Anitta, Filipino-Canadian duo Manila Grey, and other
international artists. I’ve also worked with Nadya Dorofeeva from the Ukrainian
band Vremya i Steklo, as well as many Kazakh artists,» Sadukhanov said.
