Participants at the international exhibition-forum
in Astana are discussing the introduction of digital solutions and other modern
challenges facing Kazakhstan’s employment market. The two-day event, focused on
labor safety issues, is organized in the capital under the World Day for Safety
and Health at Work. Attendees include representatives from government agencies,
international organizations, trade unions, the expert community, and
businesses, with over 400 companies from various sectors such as manufacturing,
metallurgy, oil and gas, construction, mining, and transportation. The main
topic bringing all participants together is the creation of safe working
conditions for employees in domestic enterprises, including through the use of
new digital products. Around 15 companies providing such services are
participating in the exhibition. One of them has developed a mobile application
that enables occupational safety professionals to engage in online training and
practical seminars on fire and energy safety, acquire first aid skills for
injuries, and stay updated on relevant legislation.
«This application was developed by our team,
and we have created a community that will enable all safety engineers to
undergo online training in the future. In this age of digitalization, we
believe this is highly relevant. Our partners include over 200 companies that
are already actively using this mobile application across the country,
including manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises,» noted Yelena
Dolgalyova, CEO of the organization for safety engineering education.
