Craftsman from Kostanai city Serikbai Ospanov made a “golden” cradle that is lighter and stronger than the usual wooden one. He plans to improve his work and make the cradle also collapsible.
“As the famous scientist Alkei Margulan said, at one time our ancestors used gold or shiny metal items to decorate the cradle. On the one hand, I took this moment into account. Also, this metal is environmentally friendly. Duralumin does not emit any harmful substances. It is also light,” said Serikbai Ospanov, Master of Applied Art.
Serikbai Ospanov has been making various items from wood for about 40 years. The craftsman tries to make an additional charm to each work.
