Artifacts of bronze age found in Karagandy region

Decorations for the funeral attire of a noble person of the Saka tribes, a grinding adze with a horn handle. Unique monuments of several eras were found in Karagandy region. The valuable findings were made in the Taldy River delta, which flows a hundred kilometers south of the regional center. Among the finds are a gold field from a burial mound of the early Iron Age, a collection of unusual knives from the Bronze Age, which amazed archaeologists with how they have preserved to this day.

“Archaeological excavations were carried out in about 20 fields until this time. Nearly 15 monuments were restored. We restore monuments to show them to tourists. This year, this three-year program ends, and we plan to officially open an archaeological park by the end of the year,” said Tulkibai Tuleuov, Head of the Center for Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
