Applications for
the educational grant competition are currently being accepted in Kazakhstan.
Prospective students can submit their documents either online via the eGov.kz platform
or offline by visiting the admission committees of universities. Virtual
admission committees of universities are also operational. It bears noting that
applications for state grants will be accepted around the clock.
“We have created
all the necessary conditions for applicants. They can submit their applications
for the educational grant competition both online and offline. Admission
committees in all universities across the country operate based on the model of
public service centers. Additionally, virtual admission committees are also
operating at universities. Call centers are ready to accept applications from
remote and rural areas of the country. Highly qualified staff has been involved
in the work. Everything is closely monitored by university rectors and the
relevant ministry. I would like to wish good luck to all applicants!” said
Sayasat Nurbek, Kazakh Minister of Science and Higher Education.
It is worth noting
that this year, 88,000 grants have been allocated for all levels of higher and
postgraduate education, with around 73,000 grants for undergraduate programs,
over 13,000 for master’s degrees, and the remaining for PhD studies. The
largest number of educational grants have been designated for fields such as
engineering, manufacturing, and construction industries. This is followed by
programs in pedagogical sciences, information and communication technologies,
as well as natural sciences, mathematics, and statistics. Applications will be
accepted until July 20.
