Oil and gas production in Kazakhstan continues. Three oil refineries are operating in normal mode, said Kazakh Minister of Energy Magzum Mirzagaliyev. According to him, the extraction of raw materials decreased only at the Tengiz field. The department relates this to restrictions on the export of products. Also, the sale of gas is temporarily restricted at filling stations in some regions. To date, the reserves of diesel and gasoline in the country are sufficient to cover a 20-day demand.
“Owners of the filling stations resume the sale of liquefied gas given the stabilization of the situation. As it is known, retail prices fell to 50-75 tenge per liter on behalf of the President. They will renegotiate contracts with manufacturers at reduced prices to reimburse the costs of small and medium-sized businesses,” Mirzagaliyev said.
