Foreign investors are interested
in implementing several projects in Kazakhstan. For instance, investors from Austria
intend to build a ceramic tile plant in the Akmola region. According to the
regional governor’s office, negotiations are currently underway. It bears
noting that representatives of the foreign company have already visited the
Yeltai kaolin (white clay deposit site). The project is now receiving support,
and the necessary information is being provided. Also, international companies
are planning to launch five projects in the Almaty region. Thus, the U.S.
company may establish crisp production, Russian companies intend to construct category
A warehouses and open a logistics complex, and a South Korean company plans to
start the production of tobacco products. Besides, a clothing and household
items sales center will be opened in the region.
