The next phase of production was launched at Akbakai Gold Recovery Plant. As a result of this, the capacity of processing gold ore will increase from 850,000 tonnes to 1.2 million tonnes per year. Experts say that the new turnover will expand the scope of the enterprise and contribute even more to the country’s economy. Moreover, new jobs will emerge, the press service of Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development reported. The factory is currently processing gold-bearing ores and producing the finished product, namely, dore bars, which are a gold and silver alloy.
