Kazakhstan will require all government agencies and
quasi-public organizations to switch to the national messenger AITU by
September 15. The decision was announced at a Digital Headquarters meeting in
Astana chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The new body will be
responsible for the rapid coordination of decisions and the introduction of
digital technologies in state structures and the quasi-public sector. A
comprehensive plan has already been approved to integrate 224 state information
components, which will eliminate duplication of systems and discrepancies in
statistical data. Currently, the e-government architecture includes more than
355 systems and web resources. The government has also adopted a plan to unify
information systems and approved regulations for managing data arrays to
support AI development. All government bodies, regional administrations, and
quasi-public organizations are now required to transfer their data to the Smart
Data Ukimet platform.
«All these steps will improve
the quality of public services, speed up the launch of new ones, enhance public
administration efficiency, and integrate AI into the economy. These decisions
should directly impact citizens’ quality of life. The Digital Headquarters is
tasked with accelerating interdepartmental approvals, which are often delayed.
Its decisions are mandatory for all government agencies, regional
administrations, and quasi-public organizations,» said Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovations
and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev.
