271 Kazakh citizens have been awarded the Bolashak International Scholarship. The decision was made at a meeting of the National Commission on Personnel Training Abroad, chaired by the State Counsellor. Most recipients will pursue master’s degrees or internships at leading universities and centers worldwide. Special attention has been given to natural and technical sciences, with 65 percent of the scholarship recipients focusing on these fields, while the remaining 35 percent chose the humanities. Additionally, 170 individuals received scholarships for scientific internships. Overall, applications for engineering and technical specialties increased sixfold this year.
