20 new computer programming schools to open in Kazakhstan

20 new computer programming schools will be opened in Kazakhstan. They will produce top-level IT specialists. Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin announced this at a press briefing. According to him, the school training will last two years. He also added that several such educational institutions have already been operating in the country. As a result, their alumni are already working for global big-tech companies without leaving Kazakhstan. 20,000 grants under the Tech Orda program are expected to be allocated in order to stimulate the development of such innovative schools. Not only secondary school graduates will be able to get a new profession, but anyone who decides to change their major and acquire free IT skills, which are so in demand in today's world.

“Many universities produce, so to speak, graduates with not such a high level of knowledge, which is also our common problem. That is why we will work with the Ministry of Education and Science to hand over 50 territorial universities, which have IT departments, under the patronage of specialized IT universities or already established IT companies,” said Bagdat Mussin, Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.
