WHO to allocate $1.8 million for healthcare development in Kazakhstan

The World Health Organization is set to allocate $1.8 million for healthcare development in Kazakhstan. The Kazakh Health Ministry and the WHO Regional Office for Europe signed the cooperation agreement. These funds will be directed towards providing expert and technical support from the WHO for the training of medical personnel, the health protection of mothers, newborns, children and adolescents, and the fight against cancer, HIV, and tuberculosis, among other areas. It is worth noting that the cooperation agreement is set for a two-year duration.
