Ashgabat and Ankara are strengthening economic
ties. The issues of increasing trade volumes, developing joint projects, and
supporting entrepreneurial initiatives were discussed during a meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish
Business Council. An exhibition of export goods is being held in the capital of
Turkmenistan to introduce businesses to the products of Turkish manufacturers.
More than 70 companies have brought their products to the country, including
textiles, construction materials, engineering goods, renewable energy, and
electronics. The exhibition focuses on showcasing innovative technologies and
sharing experiences between entrepreneurs from the two countries. According to
Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat, the exhibition has served as an effective
platform for establishing new business contacts for several years.
«Next year, we plan to bring even more goods
and also organize a Turkmen-Turkish exhibition in Türkiye. In addition, we
intend to hold another exhibition dedicated to Turkmenistan. The main goal of
this event is to reach an annual trade turnover of $5 billion, while last year
the figure was $2.7 billion,» noted Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat.
