The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Singapore is steadily on the rise. The figure exceeded US$1 billion in 2021. Moreover, it is expected to triple this year. The volume of bilateral trade reached US$926 million in the first half of the current year, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported. It is worth noting that the “Kazakhstan – Singapore Business Council” has recently been officially launched. This business association, which included such large companies as CPG International, Kusto Group, ZNC Enviroventures and others, is intended to facilitate trade and investment between the two countries. The activities of the council will be aimed at promoting and expanding the development of trade and investment. Tourism and other industries will evolve as well.
