Three Kazakh films win at Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Three Kazakh films have won international film awards. At the annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards festival in Australia, Askhat Kuchinchirekov's debut film ‘Bauyryna Salu’ was named the Best Youth Film. Aisultan Seitov's ‘Qash’ took the prize for the Best Cinematography. Furthermore, the lead actors in the movie ‘Brothers’ - Aibar Saly and Alisher Ismailov - were recognized as the Best New Performers. It bears noting that all of these films had previously received recognition at major film festivals multiple times. However, the APSA, also known as the Asian Oscars, is one of the world’s leading awards designed to promote cultural diversity in global cinema.
