Students from vocational
education institutions in Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to study on an
exchange program in Germany, particularly in industrial settings. The Kazakh
Ministry of Education has announced an agreement reached with the German
association for youth support and skilled worker training. The two parties plan
to collaborate on events aimed at developing technical and vocational education
in Kazakhstan. The dual education program will receive special attention,
enabling Kazakh students to undergo internships at any of Germany’s 60,000
industrial enterprises. This opportunity will be open to students from both
public and private vocational education institutions in Kazakhstan, allowing
them to gain professional skills and boost their competitiveness.
“Currently, discussions are
underway regarding collaboration with colleges in Thuringia. After studying
their educational model and utilizing our academic mobility, school graduates
and students of vocational education institutions will have the opportunity to
participate in the exchange program. Moreover, training seminars for teachers
of vocational education institutions are also planned,” said Asset Mukhanbetov,
spokesperson for the Kazakh Ministry of Education.
