Silk Way TV channel starts broadcasting in Turkish language

The first national satellite TV channel Silk Way, which is part of the structure of the country’s major media holding company, the TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan, has launched broadcasting in Turkish. This is the sixth language of television broadcasting along with Kazakh, Russian, English, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek. This multi-language channel format allows each digital TV subscriber to select a preferred language sound track. Overall, the Silk Way TV channel provides audiences in 118 countries with the latest and most relevant news about Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region, information and analytical programs, documentary films, and educational projects about the country’s investment and tourism opportunities, as well as art, traditions, and rich culture.
