Sharyn National Park attracts growing number of tourists

Approximately 35,000 tourists visited the Sharyn National Park last year. This season, the national park expects twice as many travelers. For the convenience of local and foreign visitors, warning signs and seating areas were placed along the entire route. A stand-alone weather station has been set up to monitor weather conditions. In addition, yurts and glamping accommodations are planned to be built near the resting areas.

Pablo Fetter from Argentina visited Kazakhstan for the first time. He is sincerely amazed and delighted by the beyond-compare landscapes of the Sharyn Canyon and the uniqueness of Almaty region’s natural attractions.

“It is a beautiful country with friendly, open people, advanced cities and unique landscapes. One moment you’re in the Swiss Alps, then you get into the desert, and now it's like I'm in America. You live in a unique country, and this is your pride and greatness,” said Pablo Fetter, a tourist.
