Senate Chairman calls for unity behind President’s reform course

From July 1, a new Constitution will come into force in Kazakhstan. Its main goal is to strengthen statehood and improve the well-being of citizens. To ensure the successful implementation of these large-scale reforms, the Chairman of the Senate, the upper house of Parliament, Maulen Ashimbayev, called on Kazakh citizens to demonstrate unity and to rally behind the President’s political course in building a Just Kazakhstan.

«In recent years, large-scale transformations have been carried out on the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The adoption of the new Constitution marked the beginning of a qualitatively new stage in Kazakhstan’s development. The main goal of this strategic course is to strengthen independence, protect statehood, and improve the well-being of citizens. To implement constitutional principles, it is essential to ensure the systematic and consistent continuation of reforms. At the same time, the key factor for success is public unity and cohesion. At this decisive stage for our country, support for and consolidation of all Kazakh citizens around the political course of the Head of State is especially important in building a Just KazakhstanAshimbayev said.
