There are a few days
left before the start of the new academic year in Kazakhstan. Today, President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the capital’s new educational institutions built
under the Comfortable School national project. At school number 103, the Head
of State toured classrooms equipped with modern technology, including video
surveillance systems inside and outside the school and entrance control systems.
Additional security is ensured thanks to dividing classrooms into separate
blocks for primary and high school students. All necessary conditions for
children with special educational needs have also been provided.
President Tokayev then
visited school number 101, which will accommodate over 4,000 children in two
shifts. He reviewed classrooms, creative spaces, a gym, and an assembly hall.
The new school will focus on developing children’s creative skills, studying
digital technology and robotics, and exploring artificial intelligence
applications. Astana Mayor Zhenis Kassymbek reported to the Head of State that
24 schools are currently under construction in the capital as part of the
Comfortable School national project. Kazakh Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev
noted that more than 300 secondary educational institutions are being built
across the country.
