Minister of Finance Madi Takiyev reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on
the execution of the national budget. According to the minister, this year’s
budget was formed with revenues of 21.6 trillion tenge, including 15 trillion
tenge in tax revenues, an increase of more than 23% compared to last year. In the first nine months, budget execution
reached 101%, while maintaining its social focus. The President was also briefed on the
digitalization of public finance management, with a particular emphasis
on the development
of Big Data and the
implementation of AI
in the tax and customs sectors. Tokayev stressed the
importance of continuing systematic efforts in these areas.
