Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev shared a post on his social media account on the occasion of May 31
marking the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression and Famine. The
Head of State emphasized the government’s significant attention to restoring
historical justice for innocent victims of repression, as well as conducting the
thorough and objective examination of the dark chapters of history. “We can
overcome any challenges and reach new heights in building a just state and
harmonious society only by fully grasping the harsh lessons of the past and
preserving their memory,” President Tokayev noted.
