More than 30 New Year trees were simultaneously lit in the Kazakh capital of Astana. Festive events took place across six districts of the city, attracting over 15,000 residents and visitors. This year, the tallest trees, standing at 25 meters, were installed at the Kazakh Eli Monument Square and the Astana Arena stadium. The ceremonial lighting was accompanied by a large-scale concert and fair. The trees were adorned with 2,500 red and yellow decorations, including toys, garlands, and decorative lighting elements. At the top, a two-meter light snowflake crowns the tree. Additionally, all locations feature a variety of winter attractions, including ice skating, slides, fairy-tale sculptures, and themed photo zones. The Astana Mayor’s Office promises that every visitor will be immersed in the festive atmosphere.
