New AI platform helps build supply chains

Artificial intelligence (AI) in Kazakhstan is helping businesses reach a new level. Modern technologies are already being utilized in education, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and logistics. Among these, the logistics sector is undergoing particularly rapid transformation. Digital solutions help calculate transportation costs, minimize expenses, and determine optimal routes. All of this significantly improves the efficiency, speed, transparency, and security of supply chains. Smart algorithms also provide real-time average market prices. This progress has been made possible thanks to the Kazakh startup binY, whose development began in 2022. Just a year later, the product was launched on the market. The service automates everything - from finding a driver to route calculation. Today, the platform handles over 150 shipments per month. The project has already ranked among the Top 3 of the Silkway Accelerator by Google.

«Essentially, we connect service providers and customers, enabling them to communicate within our platform and receive the fastest and most convenient service for tracking and cost forecasting. Everything the market has to offer is embedded into our technologies. We’ve been recognized as a ‘Digital Silk Road’, which means we are creating a digital space that is reliable, seamless, and capable of handling all deliveries through us,» noted the founder of binY Asset Khassenov.

The service can support both large enterprises and small businesses. A single logistics specialist or dispatcher can manage the entire supply chain through the platform. This means the system enables control and acceleration of most processes, from the automatic creation of shipping requests to route planning and communication with carriers.

«Digitalization and transit were essentially the reasons we launched our startup. We understood that our core strength as a country and as an economy lies in our potential to serve as a transit hub. We’re scaling into other regions from the start, because logistics is interconnected and can’t remain static. We’re expanding into new areas and actively developing transit through our country,» Khassenov added.

The startup is successfully operating in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic. This year, the service was also launched in China. The developers are confident that the system will become the largest digital logistics hub in Central Asia.
