Kyrgyzstan sends humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstan has sent humanitarian aid to residents in flood-affected regions. A total of 15 trucks carrying 300 tonnes of cargo have arrived in the Zhambyl region. The aid includes food supplies, bedding, clothing, and locally manufactured tents. During a telephone conversation with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized this as yet another evidence of true friendship, solidarity, and close relations between the two states.

Domestic volunteers collect over 550 tonnes of humanitarian aid

Domestic volunteers are also providing significant assistance and support to those affected by the floods. Humanitarian aid collection points have been deployed in all cities of Kazakhstan. Volunteers have already gathered over 550 tonnes of aid, with the majority of food and supplies having been sent to the regions. Over 25,000 volunteers are providing up-to-date information to the population, distributing meals to both evacuated residents and rescuers, and assisting in cleaning territories.
