Kazakhstan, UAE to increase tanker fleet for transportation across Caspian Sea

A national oil and gas company of Kazakhstan and a logistics company of the United Arab Emirates are set to increase oil tanker fleet. The joint venture is aimed at purchasing oil tankers with a capacity ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 tonnes for the transportation of crude oil across the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. The parties are also ready to build up capabilities of oil tanker fleet for open sea transportation.
