Kazakhstan will open eight more creative industry centers by the end of the year, including in Almaty city and several regions. A Creative Industry Development Fund will also be established this year, with support from top creative and educational organizations. Its goals include discovering talent, organizing competitions, and attracting investment into creative projects. Moreover, the fund will help promote Kazakh projects to international audiences, and protect intellectual property rights. The sector is expanding rapidly, with 12 creative industry centers already operating nationwide. According to the 2024 Global Innovation Index, Kazakhstan climbed from 93rd to 65th place in the Creative Goods and Services category.
