Kazakhstan plans to export wheat to Nigeria, as highlighted
during a meeting between Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and the Ooni of Ife,
Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. The two sides explored cooperation in agriculture,
energy, geological exploration, and digital technologies. Trade, transport, and
logistics were also in focus. Additionally, they discussed the export potential
of the Middle Corridor, which offers Kazakh goods access to markets in North
and West Africa. Notably, last year, trade between Kazakhstan and African
countries grew by over 15%, reaching $790 million.
